Assisted living
Assisted living in Janesville, MN
Oakwood is for the point where living alone has become more work than it is worth. You keep a private room and bathroom. We take over the meals and whatever daily help is needed.

A doctor visit without the drive
Oakwood partners with Mankato Clinic, and their providers visit residents here every week. Checkups and follow-ups happen right in the building. No car ride, no waiting room, and no one in the family has to take time off work to get Mom or Dad to an appointment.
How the cost is built
Oakwood prices assisted living as one base rate plus a level of care. The base rate is the same whoever you are. The level of care is the part that reflects how much hands-on help one person uses.
| Part of the bill | Monthly amount |
|---|---|
| Private suite, base rate | $6,810 |
| Level of care I | $930 |
| Level of care II | $1,560 |
| Level of care III | $2,250 |
| Level of care IV | $2,850 |
| Meal plan: three meals and two snacks daily | $270 |
Figures come from the Oakwood “Rate Information” sheet. A second “care packages” rate sheet also exists in Canva. Ron to confirm which sheet is current, whether the $6,810 base applies to both assisted living and memory care, and rates for semi-private and one-bedroom options.
Need from the community: what each level of care (I to IV) includes, in plain words, and what the base rate covers (utilities, housekeeping, laundry, activities). The source rate sheet lists prices only.

Your room, your way
Rooms come furnished, partly furnished or empty. Some people want their own bed and their own chair and nothing else will do. Others are moving from far away and would rather not haul anything. Both work.
Layouts include private and semi-private rooms, studios and one-bedrooms. See the options.
Residents set up their own phone service, so the number and the plan stay theirs.

Rates are reviewed annually.
Do you provide transportation?
We do not run our own transportation, but our team helps residents and families coordinate rides to appointments, errands and outings.
Is there parking for a resident who still drives?
Yes. There is resident parking.
