Oakwood is worth the 20 minutes when the larger places do not feel right. Some people do better in a smaller setting with fewer faces to learn. That is especially true for memory care, where a big, busy building can be hard on someone who is easily confused.
It also suits families east of town. If you live in Eagle Lake, Madison Lake or St. Clair, Janesville may be closer to you than the far side of Mankato.
