Life here
Life at Oakwood
Something on the calendar every day of the week, meals made in the building, and three good places to sit in the sun.

Sunroom, patio, courtyard

The sunroom. Bright in every season, which matters in a Minnesota winter.

The patio. For coffee outside and visits with family when the weather cooperates.

The enclosed courtyard. Enclosed outdoor space for fresh air.
Meals
Dining is in-house. The meal plan is three meals and two snacks a day for $270 a month. Family and friends can join for a meal for a fee.
Need: a sample week of menus, how special diets are handled, and the guest meal price.
Activities, seven days a week
There is something planned every day, weekends included. Questions about the calendar go to activities@oakwoodseniorlivingmn.com.
Need: this month’s actual activity calendar. We only publish activities that really happen at Oakwood.

Around Janesville
Janesville is a small town with more parks than you would guess: Veterans Memorial Park, Oelke Park, Lakeview Park, Eastwood Estates Park and North Street Park, plus a community garden.
When family visits, Main Street Cafe and the Purple Goose Eatery and Saloon are the local places to take someone out for lunch.

Drop in on an ordinary day
Come at a mealtime or during an activity and see how the place feels when nobody is putting on a show.
